Why the #### did I see so much Brouwer and Bartkowski? If Giordano, Brodie and Hamilton aren't playing 28 minutes each in a place you can't win, you won't

5v5 this game was pretty even by all facets.
Goals: 1-1
Shots: 30-22 Anaheim
Shot Attempts: 51-46 Calgary
Just spent too much time on the PK due to a lot of stupid penalties.
Biggest positive for me was I thought that Monahan and Ferland were great and dominated he Kesler line tonight. (Even with the favourable offensive zone starts considered).
Scored a goal, tons of chances, and had about 65% possession for the game.
If they can keep that up and the 3M line has a bounce baxk game it's fine.

Y'all need to step back off the ####ing ledge.
Yes we lost it for ourselves, we had a bonehead line change, and our top guys were horrible. Stop blaming the coach and the third and fourth liners for a game where they played 11min.
Some of you are absolutely unbearable, especially when you don't even look at the box score before you start complaining.
It was a 3-2 game, learn from it, let's not make the same mistakes on Saturday.

Full marks to Elliott. Fantastic game and that could be the one that the Flames should've stole because of him if not for terrible and lazy penalties, and worst line change in the history of the franchise.
Faceoff losses completely unacceptable. Tentative Hamilton is awkward and lazy. He look scared out there. Brutal penalties.
JG just need to flip that one there at the end to get it over the pad, but a good save.
No challenge to put more time on at the end after Kesler sticks the puck up his anal cleft?

That's twice, Debil, where you've insinuated that the Ducks are a "vastly superior team" and we are not competitive. I think the Ducks played the game we allowed them to play. We are competitive, just can't afford to make mistakes against their skill and experience. An honest look at this game (two PP goals against and a gifted 3-0 says we weren't beaten by a team with "more talent and skills" than we have. We were beaten by a team that made fewer mistakes of execution and composure. I get the lens you operate from here, but it's not an argument that fits the facts tonight.

The positive thing is that the Flames have really closed the gap between themselves and Anaheim in the past year. Guys like Gaudreau and Hamilton will need to be way better next game.

Yeah, it's a lot harder to be delusional, woe is you. Flames currently do not belong in this series. Taking the positives out of a loss it what losers do. The Flames should be pissed now and it should show in their play next game, otherwise they are just another mediocre wildcard team. They don't need their egos stroked, they need a kick in the ass at this point.

This is causing me a near psychotic break at the moment. Tonight was the night they could've won. Ducks were flawed. But the second there was adversity they hid under the "curse" for much of the 2nd and 3rd. This decade plus without a win is infuriating and by all measures it will continue. AND it seems to be 90% psychological.

It's the response when their arguments are illogical and they're looking for a scapegoat.

This. F'ing this.
I'm all for a good plug that stirs the pot, lays out a big hit...etc. Once Bouma got his contract, and coincidentally stopped blocking shots, he pretty much brings nothing to the table. All he did tonight was take a useless, bone headed penalty that cost us the game winner.

I'm sorry but Brouwer needs to be punted from the power play. It's actually really important. It's a severely underrated feature of this team. He's been awful. Time to take him off. I was shocked he's still in there. What a mistake.

Dumb penalties
Dumb line change
Meh.... The ducks are just a better team in basically every facet. Not sure why I am so angry.
Winning in Anaheim will require a better flames team or worse Anaheim team. Not something happening this year

That game made me want to take up axe throwing.
If the Flames win this series, I will buy an axe, carve a Flames logo into the handle myself, and mount it on my wall.

Unfortunately when you give these guys the puck and so much ice time, it hurts. Especially when guys like Getzlaf, Silverberg and Rakell are playing like beasts

Neither one of them took 3 uncalled for penalties
