I questioned Tkachuk's skating last summer and was concerned it would be an issue.

I was wrong.

His stick skills, vision and compete level more than make up for an element that should improve.

Will be a franchise player and team leader before long.

Those translate videos of Coach's Corner are hilarious. Someone posted the one with Sam Bennett in the other thread.

Yup...the thing about Tkachuk is that his one area of concern (skating and even then its still serviceable) is something that can be taught and improved on.

There is a really really high ceiling for this kid.

Its going to be fun to watch the next 3 or 4 years as he rounds into a finished product.
