I can't blame the refs. I know when I completely botch something I just keep doubling down on it no matter what the evidence shows so I don't look stupid. That's how it works, right?

The first review was to determine if the puck was in pre-whistle. That was correct by rule.

Our review was to see if there was goaltender interference, which the refs determined there wasn't.

On FSW the announcers suggested it was Engo's stick that pushed Elliott's pad, then decided Pearson's stick pushed Elliott sideways, not back...

The sad thing is the refs are doing this every night in every game and they know they can dictate the outcome of every game with no repercussions. The NHL needs to come up with some kind of way to discipline officials for bad work. Until they do the game will suffer.
