I don't care if you guys don't like him or you think he's a bad hockey player or whatever, but lets at least keep it civil and respectful. No room in here for throwing shade like that.

I was nodding along until you said "throwing shade"
Come on now

They're Seahawks fans too. Double whammy.
They're actually pretty nice, we're having a pretty good chat. One of them is like ten, so I'm not being mean or anything... I've only brought up 2015 like twice.

My best version of this:
I believe it was at the season opener in Vancouver this year.
Canucks can't score all game, guy is cussing and spitting and swearing and the usher has to tell him that he's going to be ejected if he continues on like that.
With about 10 minutes left in the game, he gives up on the team and leaves the rink. The Canucks proceed to score and eventually win the game (this part sucked). It was beautiful karma to see this irate fairweather fan give up on his team, only to have them come back when he'd left the rink. Fans like that don't deserve to see their team succeed. They just come to the rink to hear themselves yell anyway.

I sat behind a Canucks fan like that once. Every single time something went wrong for them, even stuff like offsides, he'd throw his hands in the air and start swearing. And it was just a pre-season game.
Flames scored in the 3rd and when my son, 3 or 4 at the time, jumped up to cheer he accidentally dumped his 7up all over this jerk. Half of our row laughed. I asked him to apologize but inside I was as proud as I'd ever been

See, these Vancouver fans are really nice people. I'm not a dick, I wouldn't be a jerk regardless, but when one of them is a kid, you have to be nice to them.
Aside from a little kind hearted ribbing of course

I really wish NHL network would show something during commercial breaks. Anything besides "commercial break".

Horrible energy to start this period. Just no jam whatsoever.

Yep, and then a jump scare when you have the volume high and the broadcast comes back all-of-a-sudden.
I would rather have commercials, tbh.
