NHL refs...

Brouwer gets cross checked...no call...

1 second later, 2 feet away...Monahan cross checks a wild...annnnnd penalty.

Why are NHL refs different than other major league refs? Why don't they call the rule book all the time?

Brodie and Gio on the points on a 4-3 with Gaudreau and Brouwer means only one person is ever a shooting threat.

You're guaranteed zone entry with only 7 skaters on the ice. Put Dougie on the other point instead of Gio and open up two one timers.

What do I know.

Nah, looked to me he grabbed the stick and fell pretty easy on his own even though he was engaged first.
