As surprised as anyone that the refs corrected the quick whistle. Now to build on it. Team's been good about not having the puck in our end much, just need to string some shifts together pressuring the Sabres in their zone.

Glad to see Kulak get rewarded positively. He hasn't looked terribly strong so far this period. He's obviously on a short leash, and I think Wideman might get back out there sometime soon

It's a case of, should the whistle have blown? No.
But it was, so play should have been dead.
As a stickler for the rules, I'm torn on this. They got it right, but got it wrong.
As a Flames fan, damn straight!

Oddly enough I recall being at that game in 2003, the first season I had season tickets, and what a season it was. That game against BUF early in the season, not so great.
