Washington is good this year and USC isn't but recruits well enough they are always a threat to win. Verdict. Go.

Looks like Washington plays USC that weekend. So question still remains, is it worth going to if you don't really care about the NCAA?

That's a no brainer - go. The stadium and campus are beautiful and the Huskies look like a national title threat. The only issue is that tickets probably won't be cheap so I'd start looking immediately.

After starting the season 0-2, Washington State now 2-0 against the Pac 12 with wins over Oregon and Stanford. Crazy...

They aren't bad. About 100 for a good seat.
The Seahawks on the other hand are ridiculous. Most I've ever paid including the NFC Championship game a few years ago. I've been going to at least 1 game a year for ten years and I think that ends this year. I'll go watch them on the road going forward.

OU had a 300-yd passer, a 200-yd rusher and 200-yd receiver in the same game, only 5th time in FBS history. Strong really fixed that defense....

Was way behind in the Vols game yesterday, I can't believe they came back again! Vols are must-see TV this year. Too bad they couldn't finish it off, takes some of the shine off their game with Bama next week.
Actually on the topic of things I can't believe, how does regulation alone last over 4.5hrs in a football game?? The feed on my PVR ended literally as the A&M kicker walked up for the potential game winning chip shot as regulation expired, I found out via the Twitter he missed and it went to double OT. I even set it for an extra hour! How does regulation alone take almost 5hrs??

I always set the PVR for two plus hours on all sporting events. Better save than sorry.

I think halftime in college football is 40 minutes (both bands come out)
Looks like Clemson is going to lose.

In the time it took me to dress and walk the 15 minutes home from the gym, Alabama scored a point a minute

ND is a complete disaster right now. 2-5.
Stanford didn't even have McCaffrey playing tonight. It's time for Kelly to move on. The players look lost out there. Hopefully they hang onto some recruits but wouldn't blame them for jumping ship.

ND was WAY over rated at the beginning of the season...they just were never good enough to be considered top 10 in the country, and they are proving it week in and week out.

Agreed and that's why I don't take preseason rankings seriously. They lost a lot to the NFL and are relying on a lot of young players especially on defense. I predicted a 10-2 season as the schedule was pretty manageable and there offense is elite.
They've just been unable to finish off games. There 5 losses are all by one possession. That's bad coaching. A lot of top programs lose talent to the NFL each year but always seem to reload and stay at the top. ND recruits top 10 classes every year so there's no excuse.
I'm just tired of Kelly. This is year 7 of his tenure here and they are 2-5. Unacceptable. I'm having flashbacks of the disastrous 2007 season under Weiss where they went 3-9. It's just not fun watching ND games anymore.
I am enjoying watching this OSU Wisconsin game though. OT coming up.

CU taking another step towards a PAC12 South title, up 10-3 against the Stanford McCaffreys with just a couple of minutes left. Their game against Utah to close out the year is looking to decide who faces Washington for the PAC 12 title. Never would have believed it.

Possible upset coming up between Ohio State and Penn State. The Lions just blocked a field goal and returned it for a TD, turning a possible 24-17 deficit into a 24-21 lead with 4 mins to go. They also had a blocked punt earlier in the quarter so special teams has been the difference.

the Huskies will, however, will be among the top 4 now in rankings and will stay there as long as they win out.
As for Browning, he is only a sophomore and wont be available for the draft until after this years crop is selected and done. There are some really intriguing guys this year though...Kizer in ND and Watson in Clemson along with the kids from Washington State and Cal, though the first 2 and Kizer especially are really the only sure fire 1st rounders along with Kaaya out of Miami.
Lots can change as there is still a lot of football to be played.
