When he's on, I think Malkin is the best player in the NHL. The problem is, at least the last few seasons, he's been super streaky. He hasn't been truly dominant on a regular basis since 2012. Probably because of injuries, but still.

He's really good for sure but I don't think is ever the best player on the NHL against competition. In this series alone even, Crosby and OV ranks ahead of him quite easily.
