The blatant stick hold occurs with 2:43 left. Pavelski locks onto Bennett's stick just feet in front of the ref, preventing Sam from reaching the puck in the corner.

If Bennett is free he probably gets that puck in time for a 2-on-1.

Can you gif 11:57 to 11:52 and the celly left in the 3rd.

It was quite the sequence on the tieing goal.

Ferlad sacrifices his body,Sam drives to the net hard and Russel witha lightning quick pinch to score.

Yeah your not alone, what they did to that site is maddening.

Strangest game I've seen in years. 1st period felt like that game was going to be a blowout. Flames were terrible in the 2nd, and pulled it together in the 3rd. I can't believe Hiller came off the bench for a 2 min 5 on 3 and we killed it. The entire last few mins of regulation and OT was incredible.

Really hope Ramo is alright, that was a terrible looking sequence.

I yelled my displeasure at the refs during and post shootout win and they heard me from the front row as they stood in front of the penalty box immediately post game.

What a freaking joke that was? I could hear Gio yelling during the one 5 on 3 call...unbelievable.

Banging on the glass after the win because I was happy and extremely pissed at the absolute mockery of officiating an NHL game.

Still pissed, but also super sleepy and I have an early flight tomorrow.

Suck it NHL. Need to send a lowlight video package to the league after that display... Sheesh.
I saw you rockin' it, awesome!

Freaking most dramatic, weird game I've ever seen. On top of that, I was high as a kite on medications. Every time San Jose scored, I thought it was leading to a win, like I knew we were going to win the entire time. Except when Hiller randomly comes in when Ramo gets injured (fingers crossed) and SJ gets a 5 on 3, then I thought we were done. Both calls were totally legit, could have even seen Bennett get a major for that. Bonkers.

Suspensions?

- Sam Bennett - ridiculous elbow. What was he thinking? I say throw the book at him.

- Hertl - ridiculous kick. Also what was he thinking? Throw the book at him too.

Both guys kind of have a history but nothing over the top, but both over the top plays you see from Raffi Torres. What the hell guys? Where did that come from?

And Hiller? LOL. When did that come from?

Then the post, and puck hitting Hiller in the back, with the awkward situation I can think of? Uh...

So confused. Not even sure what to think. It all felt like a drama movie then a hockey game.

I am going to have to watch this game somehow. I knew I should've stayed up, but I'd be hating life today if I had!

I don't even know what to say about Hiller. It looked like the Sharks were being gift wrapped the game on a golden platter with that 5 on 3 at the end. Toss in Hiller, how can we win? I literally puked when the game was done. An honest to god vomit. Can't believe what I witnessed. Hiller easily the 1st star.

What happened with the kick? I've seen it referenced a few times but it wasn't in the highlights or anything. Did he get booted for it?

I ended up listening to a portion of the game last night on satellite radio. They had the Sharks feed. I know for the future that I can save myself the time and just drive a sharp metal object into my ears instead of enduring 5 minutes of that.

The play by play guys were incensed that the Flames weren't taking any penalties. You would have thought this group of officials were literally skating around in Flames jerseys and flipping off the entire bench. Then those 3 quick minors in the second happened. Oh suddenly the officials were doing a stand up job. The Flames were thugs. Hartley was a lunatic.

I understand a bit of homerism on a local play by play station but these guys took it a few steps further. I couldn't even understand the flow of the game with these idiots. All I knew was that the Flames were literally murdering people at centre ice and consuming their flesh and blood for sustenance.

Nothing happened. They didn't get Brodie for the crosscheck either, but it was obvious Hertl meant to do it, blatantly intentional.

Yeah they gave Brodie a penalty on that play.

Lets keep quiet about someone who shall remain nameless using an elbow. No need to get social media excited.

But mention TOMAS HERTL kicking at Brodie all you want.

Every time I see it, I'm mind blown that he reacted with a kick. Imagine what we could be talking about today if that connected.

Eeesh.

I've tried listening to those SJ goofs before as well. It's impossible to tell what is going on in the game, the call is so all over the place. You usually have no idea which team has the puck or which end of the ice play is in.
