Another one of those big teams that will give us problems. Sure hope Frolik can be ready for that game.

Jeez the Oilers twitter account is just like the rest of that organization, an embarrassment.

Yup, pretty much this. After a strong stretch, they've hit a lull.
However, after that Hendricks hit, they looked energized again and I wonder if they won't return to their winning ways.
We'll have to see how they look against Vancouver. That will tell a lot.
But, they're a 1st place team for a reason. They'll likely get back on track one way or another very soon.

First time I really went through their account after the Hendricks hit. It's awful. They act so smug

Ah, ok, so the league is about dirty hits from behind that try to end careers of young talented players? Good to know Hendricks...good to know.

I just loved it when Jagr let the puck go through his legs and It completely took Shultz out of the play by having him follow Jagr.

Only caught the third and it was highly entertaining. 2 min there in the last 5 where the oilers were hemmed in their zone. Amazing cycle by the cats and barkov was in pure hero mode keeping the blue line with some amazing plays. Kids got talent, wheels, and heart.
Also, the dirty hit on ekblad and general oilerness of the game probably made a few more people in Florida realizing that E = NG....so that's good.
Ps. Was watching the Florida feed and at one point the color commentator said "Hendricks was a real idiot there" in reference to a poor decision. He was a bit hot around the collar too after the ekblad hit. But that comment...that made me smile.

With that pair, Ovi overtakes Benn in the Rocket race.

We play more more teams on the second night of a b2b than the Canucks this year. Last year they led the league by a mile

It's absolutely insane that Ovie has hit 500 in such a short time. In perspective, Iggy hitting 600 was absolutely nostalgic, a career defining feat in itself for my fave all time player.
Kudos to Ovie. What a pure talent. Another that deserves to lift a cup.

Dion was and is the same...just a little better

Yeah, Nurse is a turnover machine! I've always said that and he continues to prove me right.

I see that the Oilers broadcasting crew gave that moron the second star. We can justify it by saying he had an assist and two fights, but we all know that idiots like Debrusk gave it to him for that hit because he thinks that it shows team toughness.
Bottom line is that right after the hit the Oilers on the ice were too busy checking their mak up mirrors and looking for bus fair in their purses. Then Hendricks goes out and throws a incredibly dirty and dangerous hit.
Its typical Oilers hockey, its the height of gutless and cowardly. Their soft players are soft, their so called tougher players are chicken%%%%. There's no place in hockey for that kind of play.
If the league had any integrity they'd sit Hendricks for about 10 games.
The Panther's are playing the Oilers again in 8 days at home, I figure that the Oilers puny soft skilled players are going to get a rough ride.

Why is posting quotes from HF a thing that happens here now? If I wanted to read that garbage, I would post there.

The scouting report has always pointed towards concerns about his hockey IQ and decision making, that's a tough think to learn.
Right now he looks more like Dion or Gauthier with a better offensive skill set then anything else.
I don't doubt that he'll be a top pairing guy for the Oilers because they don't have any of those now or coming.

There was another game with a Pacific Division team involved. The Red Wings won in regulation, 2-1. Riley Sheahan scored with under four minutes left in the game to shoot down the Ducks, no points for the Anaheim.
