Horsemen have good content (podcasts, draft analysis/mocks, depth charts etc) for sure but for whatever reason the activity is not there.
riderfans.com is an enemy fanbase site but it's like CP in terms of all CFL news. Large number of active posters.
Both are good sites.

Just to add some things because I am one of the owners of CFLHorsemen.ca
We've recently posted four podcasts
Gordon Norrie's State of the Union
Mark Stephan
A show with no guests
And the most recent one with DD
http://cflhorsemen.ca/2016.html
Our Mock Draft
http://cflhorsemen.ca/2016-mock-drafts.html
The prospects List
http://cflhorsemen.ca/2016-cfl-prospect-list.html
The Toronto Combine Report
http://cflhorsemen.ca/combine-2016-toronto.html
The Montreal Combine Report
http://cflhorsemen.ca/combine-2016---montreal.html
As for the activity, for some reason CFL fans don't have huge discussions in the off season, but we are pretty busy starting after the draft and leading the Grey Cup.
We tend to get a lot of players and coaches for the podcasts.
Every year for the last 8 I think due to winning a bet with Hellard, they hold a beers with event for our members before the start of the regular season. Usually the president and other members of management will show up and buy beer and food for our members, we usually get 20 to 30 members. Its a nice way for the Stamps to reach out to us.

President Scott Flory’s grip on his leadership position with the Canadian Football League Players’ Association is being threatened by his inner circle.
Vice-president Jeff Keeping will oppose Flory’s presidency and run for the position himself at the association’s annual general meeting in Las Vegas this week, confirmed multiple sources including current and past association members.
“No comment. How does this stuff get started,” said Flory, when reached on Sunday.
Keeping is backed by fellow vice-presidents Marwan Hage and Jay McNeil. It’s unknown at this point where treasurer Brian Ramsay will throw his support.
Calls on Sunday to Keeping and Hage went unanswered and messages were not immediately returned.
Flory was spoken to by his executive at the CFL combine in Toronto earlier this month and was told he would face opposition in Las Vegas.
Flory is a retired offensive lineman and took over the presidency in 2014. He was at the forefront of the last CBA signed in the summer of 2014 and he was had a leading role in the league severing its relationship with longtime lawyer Ed Molstad in the spring of 2015.
There have been rumblings around the CFLPA that Flory’s executive as well as a number of player reps had grown unhappy with Flory’s leadership.
The CFLPA is also in the process of attempting to hire a fulltime executive director.

Looks good on the spoiled little brat Hunt who has acted like a clown through this whole thing...
The CFL today ruled in favour of the Eskimos in their dispute with the Ottawa RedBlacks.
Ottawa wanted compensation from Edmonton for the signing of Jason Maas as their new head coach. The Eskimos said they had been given permission to speak with Maas and at no time was compensation discussed until after he was signed.
It would have been ironic for the Eskimos to be forced to give up something for Maas after letting former head coach Chris Jones walk away from his contract and take his entire staff with him to Saskatchewan after last season’s Grey Cup championsip.
Earlier this week on 630 CHED, Eskimos CEO and President Len Rhodes predicited this outcome “Our case is as solid as ever. I have full confidence that if the decsion is made based on the facts, the Eskimos will come out of this ahead”

All new jerseys should be out soon in May (Addidas new brand for jerseys)
It was long rumored Bombers going back to royal blue, but this confirms it. Easily the best jerseys in the CFL by a mile if they keep it simple and as close to 80's as possible. Great news!!

I'm just so over the moon with the royal blues i dont even care about that clever little jab. Cant wait for Bombers to have white away jerseys again too. What an ugly nightmare the last 4 years or so

Does that make Reilly the highest paid player in the CFL?

Could very well be, but if my memory isn't failing me I think Ray and Burris were/are in the neighborhood. That's a lot of money for one guy but QB prices are definitely trending upwards. Could be a real killer if he can't stay healthy

Winnipeg released their financial report. The Grey Cup made $7million and the regular season made $4million. Even after paying their stadium loan they made a nice tidy profit. Good to see CFL teams making money! Hope every team made money or broke even last year. Things continue to look bright for the league!

@ArashMadani
Per##CFL#sources: there is plenty of interest in the #1 overall pick in May's CFL draft. At least five teams have inquired w/ Sask about it.
Per##CFL#sources: Different conceptuals have come Riders way for the #1 overall draft pick. Players + picks likely in return if deal made.
