In all this talk of acquiring another goaltender and the links to Talbot and Lehnner, to me that essentially means Hiller is gone and we've somewhat forgotten what he could fetch us in a trade. I'm interested to see if it happens at the draft.
With us looking for a goaltender, and having 3 second rounders there are so many scenarios that could play out at the draft. It's so intriguing with so much to chew on.

Sharks put Burish on waivers for buyout purposes.
Stars tell Horcoff they won't be re-signing him.
They also tell former 8th OA pick Scott Glennie they will not give him a qualifiying offer. Glennie played 1 NHL game in his time with the Stars.

Take with a grain of salt. Isles blogger:
B.D. Gallof @BDGallof

Probably going to have to lower their price a bit, if that's true.

So that's asking for 15th OA, Poirier, and Granlund.
For Sharp.

Ask for the moon so that way you don't get the equivalent of CP proposals.
Anything more than a late 1st or equivalent would be a home run for Chicago.

For a contender that might be one Sharp away from getting a Cup, that would be a good deal.
We are not that team.

If that's the price then I'm sure the other 29 GM's will be happy to leave Hawks in cap hell. I kinda wish other 29 do that, take none of Sharp, Bickell and Versteeg.

The price is always high at the beginning of the negotiation period. It'll drop and the highest bidder will get Sharp.

Granlund is not a top-6 forward (not yet anyway) and Poirier might not be considered an A-level prospect by some GMs.
The Blackhawks could be looking for the 15th OA, Gillies and Monahan.
Blackhawks are asking for a ton for an older player that took a step back in production last season.

Scott Glennie has the same birthday as me, so we should invite him to tryout

I sincerely doubt they would ask for all that. If Calgary offered monahan alone the Hawks would sign immidiatly. And it would be a huge over payment by the flames

I agree Granlund likely is not what they mean when they say a top 6 forward. Monahan is obviously not either since he is a legit top line player and would be a major overpayment. Somewhere in-between them though. That price is very steep and I highly doubt someone pays it.

I really hope someone throws a max third tier rfa at saad that takes him to his UFA year. It would be great to see that team jammed a little more. Might free up someone like Shaw.

Hearing the Hawks are just as happy to keep Sharp and move Crawford.
Apparently those are the two options out.

From what I see Chicago more than likely needs to move out 2 big contracts.
Problem with Chicago asking price is they want a top 6 forward with a A level prospect and first round and that top 6 forward has to be a steal of a contract. Probably less than 2.5 million. You can also make a case Sharp falls into the category of a "top 6 forward" as he has had the luxury of playing with an elite team and no way could he carry a team on his own. Put him on Buffalo or Arizona we might be looking at Matt Moulson(probably a bit better but production will drop)

If they get a 1st they'll take it and run.
Most likely a deal will involve salary going back their way.

If they end up getting a late first rounder (20 to 30) and a decent mid-level prospect I like our potential return for Hudler.
Maybe Hudler, Klimchuk and our 52nd overall to Philly for the Number 6 & Lecavalier.
Buyout Lecavalier and Draft at 6 & 15
