Very proud of our boys tonight. I am not even mad we lost. We have so much to look forward. This was a major step forward for the organization as a whole. This team is gonna be hella good for many years to come.

I want to blame this on the refs. But I won't. The Ducks were simply the better team.
We are going to be terrific in the future. Let's not dwell on this the wrong way.
Here's to a Chicago-Montreal final.

Congrats on a great season. We will have learned an awful lot, not only from this season, but these playoffs.
Anaheim are a very good team.
We will be back. The future is bright!

What a spectacular year and a great ride as a fan.
Ducks were all over them in ot, Flames looked completely out of gas and it was only a matter of time.
Getzlaf and Perry receive lots of praise, but imo it is their D that makes that team go. Fast, skilled and great active sticks. Good gap control throughout the series.
Can't wait for next season.

I expected the Flames to lose in 5 going into the series but the garbage that the Ducks got away with and benefited from especially these last two games makes it a hard pill to swallow. It's just not fair that dirty piece of trash players like Perry and Kesler get to move on. The Ducks are officially now on my hate list.

What a ride!! Great job flames, an amazing season - thank you. Tough to not like this team. Unfortunately had to play the ducks, who are one of the best in the league. Ramo was amazing and almost won it singlehanded. I think the flames just ran outta gas, but what a ride ... Beat the Canucks tho.
Thank You Flames

Hard to get too upset against this one. Just a hard fought game in which the better team won.
Our forwards were great this year and should be even better next year. The Flames will probably need to add some size in their defense, particularly their top four, in order to better handle the Getzlafs and Perrys of the league. I'm also not convinced that Ramo or Hiller is the answer long term in goal. Both were very good at times and very average or worse at others.
The Flames have shown that they can be a playoff team. They're a defenseman and a goalie away from being a bonafide Stanley Cup contender IMO. Hopefully, someone in the organization will step up to fill those roles so that they aren't forced to roll the dice on free agents or give away valuable assets in trades.

My Liver looks foreward to every summer. It needs sleep.
82 games plus 11 playoff games. I never drink unless hockeys on. Once the Flames are eliminated every year hockey is done for me.

The officiating in this series was an absolute joke and I hope the Flames make an issue of it with the NHL.

I think you meant to say he did not put any weight on it. He did not even try to put weight on it, so not sure how you could say he couldn't. He was able to put weight on it 5 minutes later though, great work by the Ducks training staff.

Heartbreaking, but not that unexpected. I love this team so much. They provided me with so much entertainment, and I truly hope they are able to build on this.
Imagine what this team could have done if not for Gio's injury.

Awesome season.
Lots of exciting young players.
Beaten by the better team. At this time.
Hopefully they can keep the chemistry and effort level of this season while continuing to have their talent level mature.
