Something like 65-70% of the winners go on to win the series.
Just about a must win tonight. Not mathematically obviously but the Flames need to show they're in the series. Game 1 was ok but the Canucks probably win it more times than not, game 2 was a clear Vancouver victory. Flames need to dominate.
This better be on the pre-show or something for those of us watching at home!
Hahaha, not the case anymore with Rogers taking over. Everything they're doing is a move to US style sports coverage. More talking, less taking in the atmosphere. They even adopted a really American copy cat, generic opening song for their broadcasts.
The days of Ron McLean painting a nice picture of the game ahead, then saying "Game 1 between the Habs and Sens....enjoy" followed by the broadcast cutting to the players standing in the hallway and the fans excitement building before the teams jump on the ice, making you feel like you're almost there, are over.
Sens/Habs series is a great example of where they're going. The first time they go to the arena now is right as the players step on the ice, and David Amber blabs on about how great the atmosphere is, blocking us from taking in the atmosphere, the he pauses for literally 5 seconds and then goes into the pre-game notes.

I haven't been this pumped for a game as I am tonight. I think the flames come out flying! No way they are losing tonight.
I hope Bieksa gets feed some knuckles by Ferly, I can't stand that guy.
Gaudreau, Hudler and Wideman score tonight for a 3-1 win.
Go flames go!!
