The sooner Bieksa realizes that he's not clever and he's not an NHL player and gets out of the league the better. The guy is the definition of a punk and a thug and a coward.

It actually sounded like Hughson was hopefull that Bennett was injured amd couldn't return. Worst announcing I have ever heard in a game, the bias was chewable. GFG, home ice advantage = yes please. I wish I could be in the dome for one of these, its hard being out east when this is going on but CP and Calgarians alike - Make the Dome rock on Sunday and also chant 'Huuuuuuuughsssssooooon' It needs to happen.

Engelland also got the instigator in the last five minutes of the game, so I believe that's an automatic suspension too.

Complete BS calls on those penalties if that's how it ends up. Those refs should not work another game in the playoffs.

So the problem with calling up McGratten is the second he steps on the ice the refs will throw him out. The Flames need to just get under the Canucks skin. An extra tap on Lack's glove when he has the puck. Few extra stinky gloves. Beyond that stay clean. With that being said they should run Bieksa. The guy is a festering pile of putrid puss.

I've got no problem with them throwing Bollig out of the game

But when there is a 5 on 5 brawl it is incompetent to take away two of the Flames guys and leave 5 on 3 for the Canucks. Lucky that one of Stajan, Engelland, or Potter didn't get hurt. Engelland really just defended himself

The nhl sucks, my bet is nothing comes of this. At best there will be one suspension and it will be Engelland .

how everyone doesn't see that the canucks are truly the bad guys is beyond me. gutless team. not to mention the fans jumping in/getting involved with visiting calgary fans after a victory. sore winners too, I guess...
I hope Flames fans don't return the favor and behave like Vancouver fans.

We don't need the league to sort anything out. The Flames will take care of things themselves.
the issue isnt what happened, we all know the flames will respond.

everyone is complaining that it currently looks like we are going to end up with the suspension. which is backwards.

If anything Ferland instigated it. Strange calls coming from the brawl

The weird thing is that Dorsett and Engelland are both showing two fighting majors for the same fight. How can one fight be worth two fighting majors?

Yikes, tough game for the Flames. They were completely dominated.

Flames first line had a terrible game

Flames lack of offense and have generating very little in the first 2 games has to be a concern

3rd man rule apparently doesn't apply if a misconduct is called on the original altercation i.e. for sucker-punching an opponent. How that could possibly be construed in this case is bizarre.

Truly ashamed at the officiating in this game. Guaranteed there will be Flames suspended for Sunday, and zero Canucks. They have to. This is beyond embarrassing for the NHL.

Absolute joke and completely gutless.

I'm steaming right now. If the refs gave Engellend the double or triple game misconduct and nothing for Hamhuis then I seriously am going to question the integrity of the officials. Everyone could see that Hamhuis was the third man in.
Even Hughson, who can't gobble enough canuck knob, said Hamuis was third man in. That is telling.

If hamhuis gets nothing, then the Flames may as well forfeit as they can't win, no matter what.
