I bought a pair of tickets for Vancouver's home game #1, likely April 15th. I'll be in section 316, row 1. I'm still hoping my work lets me have a ticket for the Loge suite, which will then make these tickets up for grabs. Either way, I'll be at the game, and then back in Calgary for the first two home games.

Lots left. Considered buying a couple and trying to StubHub them, but I wouldn't like it if Canucks fans living outside of Calgary did it to me... So I'm not going to do it to them. Lol

If you don't live in Florida, you can't purchase single-game playoff tickets for the Tampa Bay Lightning. The hockey team says it wants to "create a home atmosphere" for the upcoming series.

So the Canucks will use the Sedin line to try to neutralize Monahan, Gaudreau and Hudler... And hope, that being equal, that secondary scoring beats the Flames. Or special teams. The Flames discipline might be a deciding factor.

just for your pleasure. The breakdown of the season series this season between the Nucks and the Flames

http://flames.nhl.com/club/teamvstea...42015&team=VAN

The Sedin's were ok collecting 1 goal and 5 assists between the two of them in 4 games.

Calgary's top line of Hudler, Gaudreau and Monaha collected 4 foals and 10 points in 4 games.

Hiller was o-1-1 against the Nucks with a .922 svpct, and a 2.52 gaa

Miller was the hotter hand against the Flames with a 2-1 record, a .920 svpct and a 2.35 gaa.

This series is a saw off series to me, I honestly don't think that the Canucks can handle the Flames overall speed game and transition game.

I think that we'll see the primary matchup being the Flames number 1 line against the Sedin line and the Sbisa

I think that Vancouver can play a heavier game then the flames especially if Kassian is healthy. I believe that the Canucks will want to try to get a meathead like Kassian or A dirt bag like Burrows out when Gaudreau is out.

If Bouma comes back for the playoffs, our second like will be a much better matchup aganst the Canucks size wise.

My gut tells me that Ferland will have an unexpected series and the Canucks won't be able to skate with the Flames over a long series.

I think this is a saw off, but I think at the end the intangible of the Canucks experience vs the Flames zero pressure relentless game, the Flames will take it.

You can break the drinking one IMO. But you have to do 3 penalty shotguns this weekend to appease the gods.

I'm not entirely sure - they've used the Horvat line against other top lines, as well. If they do that, I think it will be a mistake. When they HAVE the puck, the line is very good at getting the puck into the offensive zone and keeping it there for most of the shift. When they don't have it, though, they cannot get it back to save their lives. That's my sense from watching them lately anyway.

1994: Rangers win Presidents trophy, Canucks and Flames meet in round 1
2015: Rangers win Presidents trophy. Canucks and Flames meet in round 1

I think we all know what's gonna happen. Canucks lose to Rangers in 7 and a riot ensues.

P.J. Stock on Hockey Central at Noon, besides himself on how lucky Flames are. The nit thinks that Johnny an Sean had career years and will never repeat that. What a tool. More ammunition. Flames in 7.

This series will be invaluable experience for the young guys moving forward. I think we all feel like even being close to the playoffs this year was gravy... Well we are now well into desert!

This team is going be seriously good... Seriously soon!

To help you get in the mood here is the CBC's opening montage for the 2014 Stanley Cup Playoffs -

It is so great to have the Flames back in this post-season mix.

Maybe not the best place for this question, but where is the best place to buy Flames car flags, not including the Saddledome? I went to Sportschek in Crowfoot and they didn't have any.

I know I'm getting ahead of myself, but if the Flames beat the Canucks do they get Anaheim in the second round, or would they cross over and get St. Louis?

I also think we hold a huge edge with coaching. Coach Bob Hartley is the best coach in the game, and Willie just runs around with his little etch a sketch board drawing flowers all game. Why does he carry that thing around all game? What a tool.

Well I changed my avatar due to potentially being considered sexist. I will say that the biggest reason that 'sisters' stuck and worked in so many peoples minds is due to the way the two words roll together, but that is beside the point. I will refrain from using it again. Hopefully this one works for everyone.

And GFG!!!!
