Safest thing for everyone on both sides of the aisle right now is to drop it, and walk away.

Ressurection is a pretty passionate dude and I've given him a hard time previously, but he's cool and always welcome in my books. He, along with all opposing fans bring a unique dynamic to this site that fosters informed contribution/information and keeps this site classy and a treat to read. The last thing we need to be doing is stooping to bickery.

L.A vs Canucks on Thursday, that could be interesting

Sorry, didn't mean it like that.

I thought you were being sarcastic. Sure they'd have been 4 back, but would have played more games than 8th and have to pass 3 teams. Even with the win there they probably make it 1 in 100 tries. A Minnesota like run would've only squeaked them in

I know, earlier in the thread someone said how great it was to see Iggy and Tanguay playing in a meaningful game...sounded like some had hope

although Iggy and Tangs clinging to 10th place with ifs and buts flying around seemed like a movie I had seen before

So good to see the Jets goaltenders crumbling right now!

Pavelec lets in a beauty tonight! Pavelec is Pavelec.

Hutchinson was crazy hot in Nov/Dec, but not anymore:

Nov .958
Dec .927
Jan .912
Feb .898
Mar .846

Keep it up Jets!

But, they can come close with Bettman points.

I don't think anyone would be surprised to see all 3 Canucks/Kings games go to OT/SO. It's just how the OOT is rolling these days, Pavelec channeling his inner Cloutier is the only thing that saved tonight from being a disaster

After their last loss, you can refer to Winnipeg's goaltending tandem by their new nickname: Sucksky and Hutch.

I think you need to be less sensitive
I agree that it's not really a big deal.

I think I am one of the original Jets fans (hence the name), and it doesn't really bother me. You are correct that it is tame, compared to the Jets forum I post on. I've been a Flames fan since 2003-04, and I still cheer for them. Hopefully we both make the playoffs, but right now if I was a betting man, I would wager on the Flames having a better chance to finish up in the postseason.

You know what makes me just giddy about that game? That one of them is actually going to LOSE.

If only I was the Jets GM. I would bring up Hellebuyck, and send Pavelec down to the minors. Helle strikes me as the type of goalie who can start off his career like Ken Dryden or Sean Burke. My opinion may be biased, but I think he is the best goalie not playing in the NHL at this point of time, and that includes the KHL.

That game will be nuts here on the OOT. The 3 pointers are going to be the problem, one of those teams could have 5 points, the other 4 in those 3 games.

Totally agree with you, let other teams fans come on board here. Thursday's Kings-Canucks is going to be a powder keg, get some Kings fans on here and fireworks will be going off.
