Jones has played quite well the last couple of weeks and I hope it continues. Also Hudler is such a crafty player, he just sees the ice so well.

Every 3rd post-game interview I ever heard from Brent would talk specifically to getting caught pinching, breakdowns in the attacking zone. It's not that it's wrong, its that his coaching was geared towards 100% removal of defensive lapse or plays that could cause outnumbered situations against.

As usual, you are too obtuse to get the point.
Nobody gives a flying ###### about your obsessive hatred of a coach who hasn't been associated with the Flames for years now. We are long past the point where you need to grow up and move on. The same applies to your petty hatred of Backlund, and everything else you do to drag this forum down.

Flying ? Wow, excuse me big man on forum.
I appreciate you coming at me again, but this wasn't a reply at you and there was actually someone disputing the Brent factor.
I'm not really sure this forum needs your replies to bring the forum up. This is an adult forum, let people discuss and have an opinion.

I don't understand why people are upset. The bottom line is the W. Ramo made the saves when he had to. I really don't care if they win 1-0 or 9-8 a win is a win. Against a div rival in a playoff race to boot. Be happy people.

He played well especially with how little he's played lately. Also, noticed he switched to Vaughn gear and wonder if he needed some adjustment... Appears his pad under rotated on the second goal.

I wouldn't be happy with them allowing 8 goals ever, even if they scored 9. I doubt Hartley would be overly thrilled either.

My favourite part is probably Miller slowly rising in the bottom right

Except Monahan (20) would be the "little" brother.

I don't care if it's "year 2". We're going for the playoffs, and more. Elite goaltending wins games. I want elite goaltending. We'll eventually need elite goaltending and an assertive offence, and now's as good a time as any. I agree that playing perpertual defense is typically a playing with fire, but I want the Flames to assert their offense responsibly, and I believe that they can do this even with quality goaltending as a fallback. And if they can't, they won't really get anywhere anyways, so it won't matter which one they're missing.
