Unfortunate period
Oilers capitalize on minimal chances
Early goal in the second boys and we are right in it!

Unfortunately they are more than likely correct. This team had a LOT of luck at times this year along with the good efforts. It is/was bound to even out through the season..i think we are starting to see that.

Thi team isnt real good right now and havent been for a while now. Nothing unexpected mind you, just the reality of the roster they have at this point in regards to so much youth.

Goes to show that we need Hudler and Glencross back in the line up. Seems when the Defence isn't scoring ,the teams not.

What a piss off...Internet not working, finally get it going only to learn the Flames are down by two. Screw the Oilers and Telus!

I ain't worried. Flames can come back, and Oilers have blown a lot of leads.

Unless Scrivens plays well. He is trying for a shutout.

I'd love to punch Jordan Eberle in the face.

I hope they put someone else with JG and Monahan in the 2nd period.

While I tend to agree, as he is a catalyst and calms JG down, If that's the reason, and he makes that much of a difference, time for more talent then, tbqh.

Flames are a different team without hudler, he is such a big part of the offense. The exact reason I was hoping to see baertchi tonite

the game is at the very least being played even...Oilers have 3 scoring chances

flames need to pick it up but its not like the Oilers are playing great unless giving up 45 shots a game is great

Oilers were the much better team that first period. Outside of the PP the Flames didn't generate much from anywhere dangerous. Lots of shots from the outside. Oilers found the soft spot in the slot twice and both chances ended up in the net. Flames have to be way better and get to their noses dirty.

Sven has 5 goals in the AHL so he should be on the Flames first line haven't you heard?

The Flames should've known very well this is a game the Oilers had circled on their calendars since December.

You don't come out prepared to do the little things right, you get stung.

OK enough of this ####!! That is 4 periods in a row without a goal. Time to inflict some Flames hockey on the Grease!
