Yeah, Bennett might get moved to the wing for his first season and a bit, just to relieve him of some responsibility and let him develop but he'll be a center in the NHL.

Have you read anything in this thread? Or did you just see the thread title and hit post reply with the first thought that popped into your head.

Both guys are career AHLers in my opinion that's all.

Yeah, but how much do you know about Shore? Have you watched him play, followed him? It's just your opinion is very contrary to almost every indication of him.

It just seemed like more of a "I looked at a thread, made an opinion up on the spot and hit reply" situation.

I'm curious what specifically leads you to believe he's a career AHL'er?

To be more accurate " a big lug with stone hands".

Weird though as most highlights show some pretty sweet mitts on the guy.

Shore played 43 NHL games in his first pro season, 24 NHL games in his second pro season, and 0 NHL games this season. Given that trend, it isn't lunacy to question if the guy will stick as an NHLer. He probably has a better chance than Knight, so I'm pleased with the deal. But to me it looks like a guy with a 40 per cent chance of sticking in the NHL for a guy with a 25 per cent chance.

Well, the Panthers do now have Huberdeau, Barkov, Bjugstad and Bolland as their centers, so it's understandable why he wouldn't be getting ice time in that situation.

Yep. For some reason I thought he was a center. Still having Barkov, Bjugs and Bolland up the middle doesn't really give much of a chance to play.

Might be a nod to us for helping them out with Knight in the first place?
