Give me a break. If you don't agree with what I say... fine... but don't imply that I'm acting like a five year old girl. Lets try being a bit more mature and leave the insults at home.

Is it not amazing how having a different opinion can have people saying you are having a hissy fit? That is a very educated response right there.
I know many fans here believe in the almighty Hartley! Years back we had coaches people loved too, back then fans talked about how the coaches were misusing Marc Savard and Martin St.Loius. For those to young to remember we used those two like we use Gaudreau and Sven now. Guys leave the team, we get nothing in return, and become star players in the league.
So if saying I or my fellow fans are having a hissy fit for wanting a player to be given a real opportunity before writing him off. Learn from past mistakes.
As for conspiracy theory? A coach not liking a player is not a conspiracy. It happens daily and it happens on every team. I am not saying the coach is right or wrong, but its hardly a conspiracy.

Which is kind of ironic using Savard as an example as he had his break out years with Hartley as his coach.
Do you ever think that maybe those two players learned something by your so called " misusing"?

If they did the other teams got the benefit, not our organization. Agree? We got nothing in return!
What about Marty St.Louis. Please tell me what is ironic about him too please?
Understand, I am not saying Hartley is wrong, but enough fans are questioning the use of some players. Also I am not saying Gaudreau is St.Louis or Sven Marc Savard. I just don't want the same thing to happen again!!!

The other teams got the benefit because of lousy management (Button) and Savard's lousy attitude. I don't think we have that problem now.

Marc Savard played four years for the Calgary Flames. Martin St Louis was in the organization playing between St John and Calgary for three years.
Gaudreau has played 5 professional games.

Jooris is a different type of player who's played a pro season so he gets different linemates/assignments.

Not trying to start a fight here. Yet isn't this exactly what has been going on with Sven lately. His attitude? Or his Dad's attitude lol?
There is a saying "History repeats itself". This how it started way back when too with Savard and St.Louis. Yet I don't recall their parents making comments.
Again, I question our coaching and management. Not saying they are wrong, just saying I am watching like a hawk. What are their big moves so far? Getting nothing for Cammy, Signing Stajan to a 3 year extension, signing Mason Raymond for three years, signing Engelland for 3 years, trading for Bollig, Signing Setoguchi, and signing Hiller. There is nothing in there that says STELLAR MANAGEMENT to me. Doesn't say bad management either. Always earned, never given? I will love to jump on the Hartley Treliving Burke bandwagon as soon as it is earned here in Calgary.

I'll give your statement credit and you could be correct green lantern but I think he is more talented for this team then perhaps a few others. But again JMO. .

Despite what's said in the papers, I thought Sven has come back with a good attitude. He's been willing to change his game somewhat which Savard wasn't willing to do. It just wasn't enough this training camp.
I think a lot of fans and the previous management fed it, had too high of expectations for Sven and Johnny and now they need to come back to earth. The landing is a little hard.

What big moves would you like them to make? They solidified the goaltending. Keeping Cammalleri creates the same situation as Setoguchi except one guy makes near the league minimum and the other would cost 5/$25m.
This team is about stopgaps right now. Engelland, Smid, Bollig, Hiller, Raymond, are all stopgaps. They exist to provide NHL level talent for the paying customers. They also exist to be made obsolete by our prospects. And if our prospects can't force the management's hand, then that says more about the players than the people in charge.

Gaudreau has been followed for a solid three years now, and I understand the whole OVERREACTING thing after five games. Everyone sees him on a line that just does not work. I am not saying it is the end of him right now, or if sent to the minors at all. Just saying there is enough there for a fan to ask why hasn't coaching done this or that? I am not over reacting. I see something that does not work and want it fixed.
As for Sven? Many fans are calling to trade him right now! He hasn't been given a fair chance yet. To early to write him off.

Wanting to trade him, isn't necessarily writing him off. It's more of trading from a position of strength, LW for a position of need, defence.

What did I expect the flames to do this off season? Exactly what they did!
We are not ready to contend so no point of going crazy in the market place. Agreed?
Yet any of those signings seem special to you? Choices most average fans could not of made? Biggest signing was Engelland cause they really wanted him and over paid by a country mile. Yet with cap space galore, and having to reach the cap floor, I didn't call this a bad signing. If we were at the ceiling and we did this I would lose my freaking mind. Hiller was a solid pickup, other options were out there, but solid signing. No miracles here though.
I am not going to jump on the bandwagon though and rave about management when they have done nothing most average fans would do.

Nobody is calling for him to be traded. The biggest fear on this site is that he will be.

I get the idea of trading for a position of need, I do. Yet position of strength? That position may not be as strong as we all think it is.
Yet I might as well add trading from a position of strength is important too. Meaning you do not sell low on a player. Pull sven up from the minors and play him for 20 games with Monahan and hudler if you want to trade him. Showcase him. His value is so low right now.

You can't have it both ways, sir. The moves in the summer allowed a prospect or two to make the team out of camp. They also have the roster flexibility for two or three more prospects to make the team by the end of the year.
Not sure what else you'd like. The actual players acquired are irrelevant. Veteran netminder, top 9 forward and bottom pairing physical D with leadership. That's what the team needed, and that's what they got.
