God I love watching Byron fly around, hitting everything in Blue.
So glad he's back.

As is the trend, the Flames keep getting better as the game goes on. Should be a better game for the last two periods. Should be 1-0 but it is what it is.

I can't stand Fox broadcast teams as a rule, but the St Louis broadcast has been great so far. No over the top homerism, and they have actually acknowledged the other team a few times

Oh man, talk about the Hockey Gods speaking against you. Poor Russell, that looked to be a dangerous opportunity too.

This is not a good argument by Don. Nylander is much better than Ritchie.

Doesn't look like they can really challenge St. Louis tonight, but at least they're pushing back, and making the Blues work for their win.
All is pretty much as expected.

Says who?
He has a point. The Leafs keep drafting the same player over and over.

?
The Leafs have been wasting draft picks on the likes of Tyler Biggs and Frederik Gauthier for years.
Nylander is the complete opposite of the Leafs' previous draft strategy. Nylander was the best player available, not the biggest player available.

Oh btw, the St. Louis broadcast team gave plenty of credit to the Flames for their hard work, and a pretty direct snub at the failure of Oilers to rebuild despite all the good picks.
Always nice to hear.

Nothing ever changes though with the old CBC guys. Tons of feeds tonight on SN and the whole Coach's Corner is entirely Leafs.
