Puck over glass is such a dumb penalty. Needs to be treated the same way as icing, not be penalty.

Oh the 14 year old version of me is loving this.
And they come together in the cooter.
So and so digs it out of the cooter.
He's not afraid to go into the cooters
There's a pile up in the cooter, and now everyone's involved.
Soft dump into the cooter, and he'll change.

I agree, but with a few guys its obvious.
i.e. I saw Bennett play one game and it's obvious to me that he's better than 75% of the Flames forwards. Gaudreau's up there too.
The rest of the pack like Reinhart, Grandlund, Knight, Jooris ect I agree with you.

My ex-girlfriend had a dog named Cooter, she didn't ever understand why I found it so funny. I kinda knew at that point it was never going to work.

If Jones is still down I'd say it could be likely

Don't see why not. Big, tough, scores, tries hard.
He's no David Jones.
One of Bennett and Gaudreau should be there too IMO. Or both if injuries allow.

Ramo was exceptional in his 40 minutes of ice time, especially the first two periods.

That's what I really liked about the Hillier signing, creates great competition and there will be a decent goalie in net regardless who starts.

No, you've missed the point entirely.
Bennett obviously has tons of talent (i.e. more than most of the guys, even now at 18 years old). But there's more to it than that.
Does he have the strength to battle in the NHL? Or would he be at risk of getting injured because his shoulders (as just one example) aren't ready to get hit by men)?
Does he have the stamina to play 82 games against men?
Would his development be best served by playing in the NHL, or by having another year in junior in order to work on his game and develop his strength?
ALL of these questions are part of the analysis of whether or not he is more deserving than other players of making the team. You don't put him in the lineup simply because he can deke defensemen in pre-season.
