Rather enjoyed that Arsenal capitulation against Anderlecht at the Emirates.
3-0 up after and hour and 3-3 after 90 minutes.

Yeah, dropping a 3-0 game for 3-3 to Anderlecht isnt great either.

I wasnt expecting Liverpool to take any points off of Real, especially not in their current form.

Just me, but opportunities to play against the best players and best team on the planet don't come around every week.

Rodgers could have taken this as a huge learning opportunity to take what he learned from the Anfield game and used it in this game for the development of the team.
Instead he decided to forfeit the game and embarrass the club.

This is the CL, not the league cup.

Embarrasing is drawing Hull at home and losing to Newcastle without scoring in either. The 'A' team didn't deserve to start, so making changes to the starting 11 is hardly embarrassing the club.

If it were me, I'd be starting the majority of the 11 selected today this weekend against Chelsea.

If he does that I'll actually believe his after the game quotes, but this is ridiculous, and the quotes above from Lineker and Collymore, along with a bunch of other ex pro's just show how bad of a move this was

I am surprised Liverpool fans aren't more upset at this

There are a lot of upset fans, I'm just not one of them.

This talk about starting a B lineup is being hugely exaggerated. All of the players in the starting 11 have been a part of the match day squads all year, and many of them were acquired at high prices. The only really big omission was Gerrard, and as I said before, he can't do 3 90s in a week anymore.

Its going to be interesting to see how Roma line up against Bayern today.
They're still in with a shout for second in the group because City keep choking.

Wow, that was quick. Did they just let CSKA start with a 1-0 lead?

I don't know why he'd join, if he's thinking outside of just getting rich on salary.
City's average age is old. They don't have any star youth, and are handcuffed by FFP.

What does one do, to get out of that mess?

I suppose you could sell the naming rights to your training ground to a completely, 100% unrelated Qatari airline for a trillion pounds.

He can start next year with

Zabaleta/Kompany (best RB and CB in the league)
Nasri/Silva
Aguero

that's a great core to build around

they can bring in 2-3 guys every year and still stay in line with FFP

I don't see Klopp staying past this year with Dortmund, and where else is for him to go?

Every other Top club has made a manager change in the past year or looks set for at least one more season

You have alot of optimisim, for a club with a mid-table stadium, and weak global appeal.

I'd take Klopp over LVG |
