Agreed.

So apparently Di Maria is going to snub United for PSG.
I'm sure we can sort that with a quick addition of Bebe & Anderson to that offer, that's already on their desk.

hopefully DI Maria doesn't snub United. Di Maria, Mata, Rooney, RVP would be lethal.

I don't see how they can sign him considering they're already under sanctions.
Another thing I don't get is Woodward announcing that they have loads of money to spend. What's the point of that?

More I read of this new chairman, more I miss Gill.
Woodward is a putz.

the Casillas to Arsenal rumor seems strange
he's been average for about 18 months
szczesny arguably better at this point and he's an average PL keeper

I don't believe that one for a minute. The David Ospina deal seems pretty likely to get done so him and Szczesny battle it out for the job. The remaining holes are center back (especially if we sell Vermaelen to Man Utd) and a defensive midfielder.

Good old cautious Premier League.
Need to monitor further a no brainer.
Quote:
The Spanish football authorities have approved the use of the World Cup spray for its La Liga first and second divisions from the forthcoming season onwards. The spray, which proved a success at World Cup 2014 in Brazil during the summer, is used to mark the distance between the ball and the defensive wall, making it harder for the defending side to encroach.
Spain is the second country in Europe to adopt the use of this spray after the Italian federation gave its approval, and it is thought that France and Germany will approve its use before the start of the new season.
The English Premier League has kept its distance, however, stating it plans to monitor the spray’s suitability but it is unlikely to be introduced before the new season
|
http://www.theguardian.com/football/...l-2014-la-ligaThe Premier League will need to examine how much time it may add to a game, how often it would be used, if there is actually a need for it due to an encroachment issue at free-kicks, and what referees think of it.

FFS. Its a foam spray. A slight step up from silly-string, how much monitoring could that possibly require?
They're probably just concerned about the costs of getting a foam-spray belt that would fit Phil Dowd.

I also think that we're getting that keeper from Nice and similar to the Debuchy deal, Nice are just waiting to finalize the transfer of his replacement.

It's odd how they move forward with Goal Line Technology before others but are behind the times with things like the Spray and Post-Match Video Review. The Spray looks like fun, you'd think the Ref Association would be putting pressure on them for this new toy.

what is it with Mourinho and Lukaku? Baffling that Chelsea prefer to get in an old guy like Drogba when they already have a great young striker like Lukaku. Mourinho must really hate the guy.
