2014 Calgary Stampede

I was saying earlier that this seemed to be one of the most "unobtrusive" Stampede's I can recall. Attendance is decently strong, though.

According to the Sun: by Day 9 some 1.138 million people had gone through the turnstiles at Stampede Park.

Last year was 1.133 million, and the current record stands at 1.409 (The 100th Stampede)

Just heard the guy on the radio (Country 105) announce that the grand total was 1.26 million. Seems pretty decent to me.

I live right by Stampede and must say it was way quiter outside then usual.
