That's great. There were people who were interested in the TV aspect of the Xbox One but that doesn't make for a good thing to discuss at E3. People want to see games not listen to executives talk about TV. You'd think Sony would have learned that from Microsoft last year.

Wait, I'm confused. Are people objecting to the letters "TV" in the name of the product?
The hardware plays Vita games on your screen, acts as a remote play device, and streams PS1/PS2/PS3 games via PS Now? They even sell it with a controller in a bundle.
That's not gaming? I am honestly confused but I could be totally wrong here like the Tomb Raider game (earlier in the thread).

Ahh crap, I forgot about Nintendo today. I have/am missing out - I'll have to go back and check the feed tonight.
Sounds like their conference is good though. Wii U saved?

But it wasn't executives talking about TV. It was an executive talking about getting games on a different screen in your house using a device that has TV in the title. It's first and foremost a gaming device.
Sorry, this should probably be Nintendo discussion for the time being. Backing out.

I don't know, I think PS Now and PS Vita TV are the things im most interested in from these press conferences. But whatever, some people only want to hear about games, thats fine, neither Sony or Microsoft did better than the other. It all comes down to which exclusives you like more. Or like bubsy said, which system you can get cheaper for NHL
I know I should just ignore it, but EEs hate on for the PS4 always ruins these topics. And yes I know, you have one

Heh, isn't "Vita" latin for life? Heaven help it because it might be dying.

It's a conversation about E3 so I think it's still valid. Maybe it comes down to messaging and not letting the guy drag it on for what seemed like forever. I think that kind of thing is much better left to a press release where you can detail the device much better. Sony had a fairly strong start and then this portion came up and really killed the momentum of their conference.

I'm a surely a fanboy for all things gaming. Guilty as charged.
Except maybe free to play stuff . . . I have a hard time with that.

Zelda game looks great with the open world concept. I think the Amiibo is weak, just trying to find a piece of the pie Disney and Skylanders are fighting for. Still don't see where the value is in buying these figurines, just to store data and unlock some abilities for completists?

As an outside observer, every time I wander into the videogame thunderdome thread the majority of what I read is that both PS4 and Xbox One owners are complaining about the lack of games. So I think these E3 conferences really needed to be all about the games.

Only issue is that they could announce even more titles at E3 but that doesn't change the lack of games RIGHT NOW. There were already a number of titles that people were excited about and it's great that list has grown but with the closest 'big' title for something the PS4 being TLOU in the end of July, it doesn't really solve anything being about games.
