remember when many (I dare say the majority) of this board didn't want the Flames to try and acquire Seguin from Boston because it was too early in the rebuild process...players like him don't become available very often
It was more the supposed return that gave people pause (Monahan pick + Gaudreau). I'm sure if we could have done something similar to the Stars people would have been fine with it.
