Remember when Calgary drafted Phaneuf instead of Getzlaf? I do. Still bitter about it.

Move Crosby down to the 4th line.
Let him play with St. Louis who also doesn't look spectacular out there, rotate the third player.

I think Crosby and MSL have looked pretty good together. Another chance that last shift, just tipped wide.
I still want to see Benn with Getzlaf and Perry. That line sounds terrifying.

I think the Benn-Tavares-Bergeron line has looked good, they should stay together. Duchene has looked good with Getz-Perry. So really to keep Mearleau and Carter together is keep them with Toews and move Nash/Sharp with Crosby and move one of Kunitz/MSL and make some combination with those wingers

Getzlaf is the Canadian version of Malkin.

Duschene looks good with Getzlaf and Perry.
Great cycle game, with some tremendous "take it to the net" initiative.
The cycle might be the best use of Canada's size other than the quick transition play. Cycle it in the corner, work it up the boards to the defender, screen shot, goal.

Locke would be on the team. Tell Brian that I'm considering offers.

Getzlaf was actually expected to be a mid 1st round pick (and I recall him being expected to go before Phaneuf) though, that's why this one sticks out as a pick they should have made, haha.

I think it's safe to say the Kunitz experiment is over. Pretty easy to see he should be scratched for the balance of the tournament.

Getz wasn't projected to be a top ten pick and if the Flames had taken him they would have been blasted for going "off the board".
He was a pretty lazy junior player with holes in his game

Why does everyone put an S in Duchene's name?
Matt Duchene is not related to Steve Duchesne!

Should never pick a player because he has good chemistry with someone else.
I don't care that Crosby is the best player in the world, team building around a single player in a short tournament is stupid.

He was pretty similar to Pavel Brendl in that regard. Super talent, but coasted through junior on his talent alone.
