Big Joe absolutely fooled Halak on his goal. Halak was looking for a deke move and was anticipating a five-hole.
I was not a big fan of Hartley earlier but he is starting to change me. I am not sure if there's any correlation on Feaster's firing but for some reason his coaching decision has been good lately. He's been rewarding players with more minutes if they showed they work hard or at least trying. I also like the way he's been rotating the goalies. If a goalie plays well even if they lose by 1 goal, he tends to stay with him the next game.. more like staying with the hot goalie. I guess we can see Ramo's playing much better. Berra plays well too but either his luck sucks or he just lose focus close to the end of the game especially when they ahead. In this game, it was total opposite. They were down by two so Berra was more focus to the task late in the game. Too bad, he's still haven't win his first regulation time. Anyways, I am happy with the goaltender situations right now. They are both learning and getting more confidence and more experiences as a result. This is how the rebuild should work.
I also like the coaches' reactions on a tying goal. You can tell they are not into TANKING the season as others suggested the team should. We are Flames country and not Oilers or Islanders country that decided tanking is the best option.

I meant to mention this as well.
But it isn't just the coaches - the players, the fans, the entire organization, is playing/wanting to win and competing to the best of their abilities.
It is so much more enjoyable - and a far better way to run an organization - than the tanking mentality.
You might not draft quite as high, but it is a better environment for your kids to develop in.
