The also play much, much, much inferior opponents.
The heat would have beat San Jose? LA? Anaheim? Dallas? Chicago? Phoenix?
Pretty doubtful

It was just a snide comment, not a serious post.
But I would have preferred Ward as HC of the Flames.
It took me a long time to warm up to Hartley as coach, it's a lot easier to like him as a person and get confused.

Bryzgalov refused to talk to media after last night's loss.
He is however, expected to start again Saturday night when OKC hosts the Heat again.

I know you're joking but let's keep something in mind here...
Last year there was a lot of disgruntlement around Ward and the way he handled the kids - people weren't happy with his coaching.
This year he is playing Hartley's system.
So to say they are better coached is kind of funny

Was thinking exactly the same thing last night.
The Heat look more confident, intelligently* coached, and have a real bond between players, everyone seems to push their teammates to do better.
I mean it looked that way here early on, but seems like that's really dulled in recent weeks, with injuries/negative results/healthy scratches all eating away at the collective confidence of the team.
It's all about how you handle that adversity. Flames aren't doing a great job of it.

How is it funny? Ward might follow the structure Hartley laid out for him, but it doesn't mean Ward doesn't have the ability to do things differently. There's also a lot more to coaching than just the system: from who you dress to lines to in game management to pure motivation, You can also teach the same system and teach it better.

Sure he can, over the last little while Dubnyk has been very good, He can't save every A1++++ opportunity from the slot that the Oilers weak sauce defense gives up.

DALLAS -- Edmonton Oilers goaltender Ilya Bryzgalov had to leave the game against the Dallas Stars on Sunday late in the second period after a collision with Stars forward Ryan Garbutt.

Friday's Hockey Central at noon was hilarious - based on his one shutout they basically proclaimed that he would never let in another goal and all of the Oiler's problems were fixed.

They are fixed. No more problems to solve, or personnel changes to make. Keep on keeping on. The cup is just around the corner...this time for sure.

Why hasn't he had his mask painted yet? to me that sends a bad message to the team and the fans, but maybe I'm just looking too much into it

It Can tak anywhere from 3 to 6 weeks to airbrush a goalie mask properly. Simple dsigns can usually be done quicker because its just alot more stenciling. It depends on the level of detail. Ramos new mask would of taken weeks less than Berras new mask.

I wonder if his mask will be Santa/Christmas themed.
You know, because Edmonton is like North pole.
