Probably going to be better then any of the three individually when all is said an done by the way. The only one is Nugent-Hopkins but I think Monahan is going to be more the valuable center, even if he puts up less points then "the Nuge"

orange should be the same, and they are (rounding is the 100k difference)

hope that makes more sense.
sorry, mis-read your post (probably because someone was calculating the effective salary last night, so I assumed you were too)

Regardless, it's pretty amazing

Very excited about the great start to the season but it's important we keep things in perspective. These are some heavy and talented teams coming up compared to what we have faced so far.

Still, no reason not to enjoy the moment!

It was nice to see the Flames win some faceoffs tonight, 30 wins to 23 loses and even Glencross went 2 for 4. But not sure I agree with not having a center on the top PP unit with Monahan and Backlund available. Although the Hudler-Glencross-Stempniak was on the ice for both PP goals going 2/4 tonight so probably not the best time to pick that battle

Backlund seemed a bit off even before taking that block shot tonight. Pretty much everything else is sunshine and rainbows at this point though.

Tonne of momentum and good will right now, and the schedule has them playing 1 game in the next 7 days. Tough break.

Monahan in 5 games has as many goals as Nuge had in 40 games last year, which got him his $6million/year contract! what a steal for the Oilers.

So proud of this team right now... Did you guys see how baertschi hugged and praised bouma after that heroic series of shot blocking at the end of the game with less than a minute to go? What a team! This is so exciting and it is awesome that the flames are a team that others are going to dread playing... Not because of their skill but because they make you fight for every inch of ice and the only way to beat them is to out work them. Let the word out: When the flames are in town... You better be ready to play. GFG!

I just finished watching the game. I had to pvr it tonight. Wow! Monahan with the winner! Bouma was crazy! The whole team played great. I thought SOB looked good too. The speed, intensity and team play is working so well. You can definitely see that this team is fit. It's great to see. I can't believe this is real life!

This was a good day. Couldn't have asked for a better result for the Flames and their prospect teams.

Funny how everything seems brighter after a Flames win.

Edit: Although the view was partially obstructed, can anyone make a gif out of the Feaster fist pump?
