Dark Knight Rises was really bad. Convoluted script and story, really bad writing. No tension. Illogical character motivations. The twist at the end made the first part of the film not make any sense. Just a bad offering.
Ahh I get it.. not a big deal I wouldn't think but ok.

The Quest stands upon the edge of a knife. Stray but a little, and it will fail, to the ruin of all. Yet hope remains while the Company is true. Go Flames Go!
For a mashup of randomness that was really good. Love the last twenty seconds with Cranston.
Actually like the choice of Affleck, think he will be a good fit for Bruce Wayne/Batman from the detective aspect.
Think the one thing missing from the Dark Knight Trilogy was Batman as a detective, he never seemed smarter then everybody else in those movies and that is always the key strength of Batman.

Damon doesn't understand all the nerd rage about Afleck casting:
Quote:
“I think it will be great,” the actor told The Times of India while touring the facilities of Water.org, the organization he co-founded. “It will be terrific. I know there are a lot of people grousing on the internet. I just think it’s kind of funny. You know, he’s not playing King Lear. It’s Batman! Certainly within his skill set. If anybody saw Argo or The Town, and all the work he’s been doing lately, it’s way more nuanced and interesting and way more difficult than Batman! Batman just sits there with his cowl over his head and whispers in a kinda gruff voice at people. Bruce Wayne is the more challenging part of the role, and Ben will be great at that.”
Quote:
“I am a little older than Ben,” Damon pointed out. “I never saw Robin as older than Batman. Somebody sent me a picture actually [of my face Photoshopped on Robin's body and Ben's on Batman's]. It was really funny. But it’s safe to say I won’t be Robin.”

Damon would have worked as Robin 20 years ago instead of Chris freakin O'Donnell; heck he would have been a better Batgirl than Silverstone for that matter.
Snyder talks about the mass destruction in Man of Steel.. is this a sign of things to come? Apparently.
Quote:
“Chris and I tend to like the same movies," Snyder said. "For me, a good movie has a pokey feel, and its surface has sharp edges. It's hard to hold in your hand, but fascinating to look at. The 'Hollywood committee,' on the other hand, is always trying to get rid of those edges, to make it softer, lighter, more palatable. Those movies are easier to sit through and accept but once the lights come on you’ve forgotten all about it. It winds up not moving you, and the experience doesn’t stay. The best movies are the ones that cut you a little."
I like it. Let Avengers be good old wholesome family fun, lets see Batman kill people.

heh.
Wasn't Silverstone the 'it' girl at the time and then quickly fell of the face of the earth.
