Horvat would be the guy from London I'd be targetting. He will go higher than Domi though I'd expect.

I believe Feaster when he says the #6 pick will not be traded unless it was used to move up. So with that said, I say there is zero chance that pick will be traded down.

Not me. He's got career 3rd line NHL player written all over him IMO and I would be stunned if he's picked ahead of Domi.

Is there any reason Hartley would be at the game? I swear he is being interviewed infront of me.

Its a big hockey event and there are a bunch of prospects to see. I imagine while not being a primary decision maker the Flames would still value any opinion he has on draft eligible guys.

The Hunters better get that cheque book out again if they want to win the Memorial Cup at home.
Anyone know the Erie ownership situation? Any chance they buy McDavid from them or just intimidate/threaten them enough to force them to give them to London?

It is possible. The London Knights are like the New York Yankees of hockey. Or the New York Giants of hockey. Or the New York Rangers of Canadian major junior hockey.

Has Domi ever met his goalies? The only time he skates hard is when he has an offensive chance. I haven't seen him backcheck once. He seems to have great offensive mind but he has a looooong way to go to play in the top 6 of the NHL with that style (Robbie Schremp anyone, with slightly better skating)

This is the best game I've seen Drouin play so far in this tournament. He's engaged and seems to be a potentially elite playmaker as opposed to the pure goalscorer I thought he was.

Domi didn't skate once, even when it was only 1-0 that kid was still coasting at the red line, pass. Horvat was definitely the better of the two, had a few good drives to the net and actually back checked.
Drouin and Mackinnon are something else out there, crazy. Watching Maatta makes me sadda he didn't come back in the Iggy trade..

Domi may be floating these last few games, but he does actually back check, and forecheck. The comparison to Robbie Schremp is not accurate.
