Like I said, he will get a few more cracks at the cup. Likely just as good of a shot as this year if he stays in Pittsburgh.

I want the Flames to get the best draft pick possible.
I think you're underestimating how difficult it is to get to the Finals, and to win the cup. Even when you hand pick a stanely cup contender, there are countless quotes from hockey players on how truely difficult it is.

This is a very special year for Pittsburg because of all the pieces they picked up. They are by far, the favorite to win the cup this year, and due to cap issues, they won't have a team like this next year.

Iginla will be lucky if he's in the cup finals once in his last few years here, imo. If there was a year he was going to win it, it will be this year. Therefore, I'm cheering for Iggy over a late first rounder moving up a spot or two.

To say you're cheering for Iginla to get knocked out because you value the Flames success over Iginla's makes sense, and is fine, but to say you want Iggy out because "he'll have more cracks at the cup" doesn't make sense.

Some brutal giveaways by Nick Spaling in his own zone. BJs are swarming now. Come on Preds!

Ideal situation for me is for Nashville to win in OT or SO. That way, Minnesota could miss the playoffs even though Columbus loses. I hate Minnesota.

So if the score holds up in the BJ game, does Minnesota need 1 or 2 points to make the playoffs?

Columbus will win in a SO and Pittsburgh will score the winner in the last minute of regulation.

Such is the life of a Flames fan.

Can't end 1-1, but if they lose in OT Minnesota only needs 1.
