It's official. Then Hartley has the cajones to say the answers are in the room? He should be fired for that comment. I like him but that sentence should never.....ever...be uttered within the Flames organization again.

I would seriously be shocked if any trade did not happen this weekend. Knee-jerk or the beginning or the tear down. either way. something has got to give. Feaster not saying squat has got me perplexed as well.

Well, the stars couldn't be much more aligned for a blowing up of the team now.

Odds are they roll into deadline day 3 or 4 games under .500, 6-10 points out of a playoff spot, and 14-15th overall in the West. They've got some big assets they could easily move to contending teams, and by the sounds of things, no shortage of trading partners. And it just so happens it's a great draft year.

The next 10 days will be the ultimate test of the Flames' delusions.
