Rattie is a much better skater than Howse. Howse couldn't even skate backwards.

They would have lost the game against PHX if not for the 3rd period.
Seriously, now people want to pile on the coach? Gotta give this guy 3 seasons like Sutter had before you even think about putting the load on him.
Brent Sutter didn't do any better either. I'm on board with trading players, Glencross should go if Feaster didn't NTC him......

Do you ENJOY mediocrity? He was precisely the type of player this team needs to be made up of. Hard working, talented, young and he plays Center.
Yet you relish the opportunity to preach that Feaster was making a mistake trying to sign him, because you value your precious draft pick so much. The pick is NOT GUARANTEED. O'Reilly is a proven performer at this level, and is the Center this team has been lacking for 15 years.
What the hell is wrong with some of you people?
Anyway, yeah, this was not a good day to be a Flames fan.
Hartley, play Sven more, you fool.
I don't drink, but this may be a good time to start.

I think you need to let it go. That ship has sailed. No sense stewing on it.

Don't want Schroeder and the first would be in the very late 20's. Jensen I would love though.

No doubt, but that was Sven's guy that broke loose from him and all the other Flames had the play contained. Why Sven is in that position, well that's a chat that Bob can have with his buddy Jay.

Maybe, but I haven't seen anything from him that screams NHL'er. What I get from him is another in a long line of CHL superstars who never make the step.

It was fun to be excited about the Flames today! I really wonder if this ownership group will allow a sell off at the deadline..

I'm not even really surprised or even mad we blew this game. Just kinda bummed I guess. Really sad display out there tonight. Don't feel like watching the next game.

Still a fan no matter what. This was a state of the union game for the Flames plain and simple. And it is not good. I want this team to be better, I want this team in the playoffs. Sadly, when you blow a game like this with all the hoopla surrounding it.....it is not good.
I hope Feaster has a back up plan in the event their RFA signing was matched. Because something needs to be done....still.
Good on him though for trying.

I really fear this team will have to go straight to the bottom and stay there for a few years before management pulls their head out and does something. Feaster will dither around and talk the talk, dark times...

To be fair, Iginla with a solid game, unlucky not to have a hat trick. Bouwmeester too, with flashes from Hudler.
