Back in 2000 the company I was working for in Iceland had its yearly fancy party, he was the head doorman at the hotel for this party.
Throughout the night as the drinking increased I would go up to him and talk a bit in English of course about strongman competitions, etc.. Near the end of the night I was fairly inebriated and was taunting him playfully to hit me, he obliged most definitely not as hard as he could but wow nearly took the wind out of me. People around thought it was for real though, because even a playful punch by him is no joke, so it caused quite a stir as my friends jumped in and "saved" me.

This was circa 2006 maybe. Well past when they were actually "famous" in Canada.
They were actually pretty cool but it was kinda weird because they were all munchkins. I swear they were all 5 ft tall, 90lbs.

What is interesting about this cameo story is that Frank Moffatt, their father, popped into numerous sports and clubs team photos in high school, even though he was not on the teams during the yearbook picture day. They added his name to the captions. Classic.
I knew Frank when I went to high school and he was getting his GED, his boys were young. Frank was also a northern scout for a WHL team. During the 1987 World Juniors he argued that Theo Fleury would never make the NHL, I contested different. Made a hilarious video for an English 1984 project with him and a few of my friends, got buzzed on a few beer during the filming. Poor acting but plenty of “double entendre” and props, some of which includes a stuffed beaver and cheers to Winston followed by downing beer. Went over well during the showing in class.

I was at the game when Lanny scored his 500th goal and was the little kid that was asleep. On all the news and what not. "Everyone went wild for Lanny except for this little kid."

- I've been on the front page of the Herald twice.
- I'm a 4th generation Calgarian. My great grandfather was the president of the stampeders, the Glencoe, and the Calgary rotary. He also invented those footprint things on the grates downtown (or at least that's what he used to tell everyone). He also backfilled the elbow river back in the 30's after one of the neighbourhood kids drowned in a deep hole, so he's to blame for it being so shallow in some spots by the 4th street Safeway.
- legend has it my family used to own the land Eau Claire was on, and sold it because it was swampland
Nothing else interesting comes to mind

I was on an episode of Family Jewels, and met Gene Simmons.
What a ######.
And yes, the show is completely staged

While I was working in Kazakhstan I witnessed a rocket launch at Baikonur . We were right on site in the facility, watching from the VIP area. Very cool.

I was an extra in a hot tub scene in Whistler. I sat in a hot tub yelling while they filmed the same scene about 6 times, and did a few other staged scenes according to the producers ideas. It was really lame.
I tried to shake his hand afterwards and meet him, but he cold shouldered me to stare at my g/f's breasts. If you're not a well endowed female forget it, he won't give you the time of day. I'm sure the guy gets fans around him all the time and that's why he could care less, but I'm a big deal, man! lol
I didn't meet his immediate family, just the guys playing his uncle and family friends.

You're related to Peter Prince? It was a lumber yard.

Real estate records from the 10's and 20's aren't exactly easy to find.
My family used to own Riverside Iron Works, and it was down in that area somewhere before it moved to Ramsay. I have no idea where it originally sat. I do know it was on a 20 acre site, on the river. Swampland was pretty handy for foundries back then, and you can imagine why.
