Raonic vs Tsonga on Sunday could seriously be epic. Raonic looked very very good today. His net presence has been better than I remember it ever being.

Fundmark19 - keep up the cheering! You guys sounded awesome on TV

Dominating performance. Benneteau has a 36-20 winners to unforced errors and still didn't have a prayer. If Raonic is aspiring to be world class he needs to take out journeymen like this and he did.

Doubles will be fun tomorrow and as Mango said, Raonic and Tsonga will be epic on this court.

I missed Raonic while I was driving up to the hill but awesome to see the highlights bringing Canada level. I didn't expect Pospisil to win, but definately to put up a better fight.

Doubles will be huge, will put raonic or tsonga under intense pressure.

Feeling super bad about that family from PG that died driving down for Davis Cup. Poor guy was a tennis fanatic, really terrible story.

Ok sober write up about my impressions of Davis cup

First match crowd was very tentative to get cheering. France had one solid section of fans who made lots of noise. We only had half a section as well tryin to get it going. Lots of the crowd was older folks so clapping after points. Towards end of Milo's match people started standing up more. They gave us waving towels but should have given us some sort of noise maker

Watching live tennis is so much different then tv I had a lot of fun an cant wait for today's doubles

USA crushes the Suisse 3-0 (4 set doubles win)

Federer played this tie like he hadn't picked up a racket since the Australian Open.

Respect to the States for winning but that makes the Davis Cup that much more wide open Mardy Fish and Isner are way more beatable than Fed and anybody 9 times outta 10.

I dunno if they do a new draw for opponents every round but hopefully the way the brackets appear is true and that could potentially be Canada's QF matchup (knocks on wood).

It's a bracket and yes it would be on Canadian soil again. April 6-8

I think they would play in Montreal. ANTI-AMERICAN!

Haha crowd member "you suck llodra!"

Ump "please do not disrespect the other teams players" followed by the backup cheer from the tennis set.

It alternates. So the next time Canada plays France, even if it's 100 years from now, will be in France. I just looked it up, Canada lost in France in 1966!

Canada lost to USA in Bakersfield, CA in 1965.

Canada struggling, can't win serving 50%

They can't convert on the "big points" - so to speak. Tough to watch.

At the match in Van and there's someone wearing a Saprykin jersey Flames jersey lol.

Canada really hasn't looked as engaged as they should be in this match.

Raonic has withdrawn from singles today with knee pain that came on during doubles yesterday.

Playing him in the doubles yesterday instead of Pospisil has backfired pretty massively for Laurendeau.
