Spoiler!
Get locking wheel nuts. If you don't have any with nice rims you're asking for the cinder block treatment.

Also get a tailgate lock because people do steal tail lamp assemblies right BTC?

Are you planning any mods? I went crazy with my last Mustang, but this one I'm going to keep basically stock. I may lower it slightly and the springs should stiffen it up on corners and prevent the nose from diving when braking, which these cars are notorious for. That'll probably be it, though. Mine is a convertible so it has to be comfortable for my wife to drive with the kids in the back. If it was just mine I would do the exhaust.
The exhause has been done by the previous owner, although I dont know much about it.

I think the only mods I would consider would be purely aesthetic. I really like the look of louvers on the rear windows.

I created a thread in the Help/Suggestions forum to discuss the possibility of adding a Motoring type sub-forum. Please feel free to show your support or disapproval over there.

How much does it cost to chip a GTI to 265 HP? Specifically a 2010 model. Is it hard on the engine after said boosting?

TuneDub did my '09 for ~$500. Unitronic stage 1+ @ 260hp / 295tq. Over 80k km's on it and zero issues. Totally different car, haven't regretted spending the money at all.

Anything more an you're into mechanical mods, not just software.

I just got a new car (yea! 2012 mazda3 h/b) and am wondering where you guys would reccomend for getting 3M or Avery protection for the front of my car (might get some tinting done too) as I want to avoid rock chips

^The dealer didn't offer you a 3M package? Usually you can get that thrown in pretty cheap when you buy new.
