There's been some talk of trades so far for those GM'ing the Flames... for those people - what's your current lineup?
Mine:
Backlund/Bourque - Backlund/Stamkos - Iginla
Tanguay - Jokinen - Moss/Stamkos/Bourque
Glencross - Morrison - Stempniak
Hagman - Byron/Moss - Jackman
Kostopolous
Byron
Brodie - Bouwmeester
Gio - Babchuk
Carson/Butler - Sarich
Kipper
Karlsson
1st 2 lines probably split 2/3 of the icetime, with the 3rd & 4th lines splitting the other 1/3. I don't know what it is, but Tanguay gets zero points when he's on my top line, but has big time chemistry with Jokinen. Backlund & Iggy also have amazing chemistry (enough that it's not really worth having Stamkos on their line).
So other than Stamkos I haven't shaken things up a whole lot yet. I actually grabbed him when I lost Backlund to injury for a month. Currently have Kostopolous & Morrison on the trading block as they're underperforming in pretty much all categories. Haven't actively started looking for trades yet.

Turns out there has been a patch, but not one that fixes the gameplay. It was to fix the loop glitch and free packs in HUT.

What did you give up to get Stamkos? Stajan and something I assume?

Anyone else take advantage of the 2500 puck jumbo packs in HUT? Bought 3 or 4 (got nothing good..)
Just started my Flames GM mode, Iggy-Backs-Tanguay ripping it up on the first line with 4 points each in the first two games!

I can see now all the freezing issues. Not happening to me, yet, but my opponents all of a sudden lose their connection and I get the win.
This has got to be addressed. I am 6-3, and I think 3 of those wins were by default due to the other guy freezing.
No other game I have freezes that often, makes no sense.

Anybody else notice that the lines freeze on their screen sometimes? IE - forward lines 1-4?

I can't speak for NHL 12, but in previous installments it was the only mode I played consistently. My complaint about it would be that it is far too limited, and very stale.

I find it fun, though like someone said it perfectly, it does get a little stale after a few seasons.
But I still play it the most of all the game modes.

I use to love it. Then I found Eastside Hockey Manager. If they could make gm mode like that i'd be in heaven.
