I just hope Feaster or whoever the GM is gets him signed. Really unfortunate that he missed so much time. Sounds like he is a real solid player.

Good to hear Irving is expected back this weekend.

Good to hear. Earlier this year I was wondering what his future would be like with the Flames..I wast sure if he would get signed..then he got traded to Vancouver and his play took off. Hopefully he has a good showing with the Heat and gets an ELC.

Irving pitches a shutout, Heat win 1-0 to keep their playoff hopes alive.

Medicine Hat beats Brandon 9-5 to take a 3-2 series lead.
Spokane beats Chilliwack 6-4 to eliminate the Bruins.

Ferland had a goal in the 9-5 loss.

Howse will likely be with the Heat soon.

Ortio dressed but did not play. Bennett did not dress.

Heat have 82 points with 5 games remaining (max of 92 points).
Peoria has 86 points with 4 games remaining (max of 94 points).
This could get interesting.

Marvin did not dress either.
Its good to see Irving playing well after coming back from his injury.

Brodie is now the leading scorer of the Heat. Good for Brodie, bad for the Heat. A full season of Bancks would've been huge for the team.

Dowling has been a nice addition to the team.

To be fair, the Heat have lost Bancks (injury), Bouma and Nemisz (call-ups) and Kotalik (call-up) for significant periods of time this season. Due to the Flames' dearth of blueliners, Brodie was down for pretty much the whole season.

The Heat cannot finish the season tied with Peoria or the Marlies as they would lose the tiebreaker. The AHL has also adopted the "regulation win" rule - the Heat have 25 regulation wins, the Marlies have 29, and Peoria has 33.

I believe Ryan Stone has won the fan choice award for the Heat this season.

Brodie a close 2nd.

Could someone give me the Abbotsford Heat line up in an injury free situation? I have a heard time figuring out the depth chart for them.

Marlies lost in Regulation today, thumbs up there.
