Not so sure about that. Bruce only got a 1 year deal and wasn't Rutherford's guy, Trotz is waiting in the wings. I'll bet he's gone by Christmas.

Making a bunch of losing trades to just try and get a fresh start isn't usually a good working strategy.

But status quo is worse. Sometimes you have to take your lumps in order to move forward - one step backwards, as it were.

Could be. But that would again be too late if they keep playing as badly as they have been. The new coach bump would only serve to hurt their draft position by then… wouldn’t be enough runway to make the playoffs if they are still near the bottom of the league at Christmas

Do you really believe this? It would seem that Rutherford and Co aren't his biggest fans and the guys on the radio this morning were talking about this too. The only reason I think they may not fire him is if Aquilini doesn't want to pay for him and Green while adding another salary to the payroll. I agree it's on the players and not on Bruce but what do you think Rutherford does?

For what it is worth (perhaps nothing at all), Severalli said on Fan 960 that he thinks there is pressure on coach and a change may occur if the losing streak gets longer. Of course, he predicted Bruce being the first coach to lose his job so he may be biased.

Canucks fans deserve this after that cringe-inducing "Bruce there it is" chant they came up with last year. This is karma from the hockey gods.

He was a Rutherford guy. Before the regime change, Rutherford was asked who he would get and he said Bruce.

Remember Taj is known for making things up to troll.
Also, toss all the canuck names in a hat and draw for who is scratched. They all deserve it.

But the article from Canucks army includes quotes and not quotes from Taj.

I’m with Blaster. The Canucks dressing room over the past few years has been known to be one of the tightest, close knit locker rooms there is. No smoke here.

What we heard last year is that there was a rift between Horvat and Miller and that the room was divided. This rumour was something made up by known #### stick and perpetual liar Matt Sekeres.
This accusation is more so that the star players (whom ever that may include) separate themselves and put themselves above the non stars and that the team endorses this (think Russell Wilson demanding his own office away type thing).
