I don't think Hickey is a blue chip prospect but I hope the Flames do sign him this off-season and make room for him in the AHL next season. I assume Wotherspoon and Morrison will not be retained and Andersson might be ready for an NHL spot next season.
If Hickey isn't a blue-chipper, I think he is close.
His skating is exceptional - not good, but exceptional. He has a good shot from the point, is a great puck-mover, likes to play a rugged game, and is good defensively. He is about as a complete of a prospect as one could hope for.
I don't think he is NHL ready, but I do think he will be an NHL defencemen. It is fun just watching Hickey skate. I think he is right up there with Brodie and Kylington for pure skating ability, and is joining the organization being a more complete player than Kylington or Brodie were (though his time in the NCAA has really helped with that, so it definitely isn't a fair comparison).
I really look forward to Hickey, actually. Though I still like Kylington more just due to his higher ceiling (which is my opinion anyways), I think that Hickey might be the best of the bunch out of any of the current defensive Flames' prospects.

Both Harvard and BU get a bit of a raw deal today. They're each the higher-ranked team in their games, but they have to play against the home town team in front of a hostile crowd.
This is the exact scenario that Providence College took advantage of two years ago, where they were the lowest-team in the tournament but got to play their first two games in Providence and eventually went on the win it all.

BU scores two goals early in the third and now lead 3-1.
Harvard got a late PP in the first and scored early in the second on it. Fox had an assist, which means he's guaranteed to finish with a point-per-game average greater than 1.0.
