8 shots on net with 3 minutes left in the 2nd!?!? Boston is really struggling.

That was a wierd call. I guess it could be argued that the path he took left no other option but a collision in the crease... still though, that's a weak call.

10 unanswered goals since the Bs got the opener halfway through the 1st in Game 2. Shots are about 50-15 since then too. Crazy.
Edit: And right on cue lol.

After being invisible In Calgary...maybe wasn't a good idea to tell him to calm down.

He's focused on getting the other team off their game. He doesn't care about points.

If you take away the 0-4 sweep in his rookie season, and the two Covid Cups without any fans, he has 46 points in 40.

So pretty much his worst playoff games lol.
He was invisible and I think part of the problem was flames teammates or above telling him to change his game which was a mistake. He was bad, let's not make excuses for him but think was obvious he was somewhat tamed.

While your point in valid, in his first 15 playoff games he had 5 points (3 playoffs). In his last 40, he has 47 (3 playoffs). Players can adapt.

Yeah yeah, I get it.
I'm just saying since he started hitting his prime, he has 47 in 40. Just a subtle reminder to everyone who said he's useless in the playoffs, that sometimes players need time to develop.

I was just making a joke.
Tkachuk has become a playoff warrior, no denying it

They did that with Bennett too after he scored four goals.

I think he's learned to save that stuff for the playoffs.

Plus he used to get thrown off himself a lot more. He got in Kassian’s head, sure. But the next game the media and Kassian were in his. Ditto Doughty.

Maybe, and then you know the team didn't really back him up at one point. I bet you it's different in Florida, I bet you the whole team's got his back. Something about the culture and Calgary just isn't right, we need to get back to the old style teams we used to have where everybody was fighting for each other and going all out. That Flames team back in 2004 would give these Panthers a run for their money.
I think we need a culture shift within the Flames our guys seem too casual. We need more Sam Bennett or Chucky types.., Iggy or Ville Nieminen.

Meh. The team backed him up fine. But it’s a lot to ask a team to go get punched in the face every time Chucky threw a tantrum or jumped on a goalie.
Iggy - fine. Neimenen has an outsized rep though. He played well for one PO series in his whole career, and not so much at any other time. Sutter was smart to let him go.
