I thought the bloq were anti-TMX

Sohi out in Edmonton, so long you won't be missed.

At least the one benefit of a minority, no Liberal Majority in committees.

Time to open the files on Norman and Lavalin.

Yup, sell out to Quebec for four years. Sucks either way.

The PCs will prop of the liberals for at least 2 years. It’s good if any 1 of the 3 parties can keep government in power.

The Bloc just won their most seats in years so they don’t have incentive.

The NDP needs a new leader as well.

So it’s concerning but an unlikely scenario.

3074 - 2658 Lisa Raitt losing.

On the plus side, maybe Van Koeverden is handsome enough to take over as PM?

FPTP doesn't work. If only someone would run with electoral reform as part of their platform......

I think they are anti energy east but don’t care about BC. Who knows. I would bet that they would be ok with TMX if we paid them somehow.

The CPC didn't have the guy to speak first and think later when it came to Trudeaus incompetence and then topped off by the black face hypocrisy.

Scherer with measured responses and keeping things PC may placate the media and national networks in coverage so as to not rock the boat to keep a clean campaign, but any pseudo-venom didn't seem genuine from Scherer. He needed to go for the throat and get a bit in the mud, and be genuine about it. Many Canadians would at least listen to that, and having some passion stirred around it. Many more would jump off the fence. Not saying to turn this into a WWE promo, but in this day and age, to topple a guy who got there based on who his dad was along with his youth and freshness, the CPC need more then a solid family man with a solid CPC background. They need a character, a guy who can fire from the hip, and be half showman and half politician when the time calls for it.

Like it or not, the Trump campaign and win shows that the general population, whether they are proud of it or not, respond to some showmanship and some mud raking. Its not the pure politics of our parents or grand parents, but so be if, society and its values and what stimulates it, isn't the same society either. It can't be the only strategy or base the whole platform, but they want to have a guy who will be call it like he sees it and nail a guy like Trudeau to a wall with the garbage he's pulled.

The tale of this election is that of pure incompetence... The side we often hear about hear, how could scheer screw this up with Trudeau seemingly making a fool of himself at every turn??

The other side, boy would Trudeau need to make a fool of himself at every turn in order to not get re-elected with a record low unemployment, stable economy and as incumbent majority!

Turns out, scheer took the prize of incompetency. Who knew you'd never get elected in this country with no climate plan and lbgtq ambiguity? Did he look at an electoral map before or after he released his costed platform, you know, like a week ago...

Frankly, I'm embarassed for both. At least scheer gets to disappear, never to be heard of again until beginning the premier of Alberta in 2040.
