Not like he really ripped his shots. How many deke/tap-in deposits over the years? Most of his goals are that. If you can pass well enough for 100 apples you can score the way he traditionally scored.

And if there's a real injury that has hampered shooting all year then why the #### are they playing this guy 30 minutes. What a careless team. They deserve whatever shortcomings come of that.

lol, not an excuse detective,and certainly a guy like him doesn’t need an excuse from me. It has been talked about since October, he sure as heck didn’t get 64 goals by tap ins last year, I think you and I both know that. His shot last year was pretty elite.

21 minutes a night in case you wanted real numbers, as for why he kept playing if he is injured? One can only surmise because it wasn’t going to get worse.

Again though this is all speculation but it’s been discussed for a while. Maybe he just stopped shooting as much, I don’t know. Sure aren’t going to hear until the seasons over and maybe it turns out the suspicions were all wrong. Won’t be the first time, nor the last.

Exactly this. Literally anytime he goes on a cold streak the media starts saying he is injured. Not speculating, they are sure he is injured.

I assume Hintz may be concussed. Not great but it seems like the Oilers are getting way too many breaks with their opposition missing key players. Stars still have enough talent to take care of business though.
