The difference though is that MW2 is terrible/aggravating because the game is broken. Battlefield is aggravating because of the players, not because of the game.

And yes, I do team kill people who are Recon. Unless they actually do something, if they go 5 minutes sitting in the same spot doing nothing I spawn, put a bullet in their head, and run away.

Ya, i just started playing it, and while it took me a few games to understand what i was doing... I could tell the difference right away... it is superior to MW in about every possible way... i also got luck and am part of a great team with only 1 sniper on it

Playing PC, haven't got much time in but started as assault now play recon mainly but I can't just sit around I like to shoot and move, taking bases etc. This game is pretty awesome

Nothing wrong with playing recon - if you're doing recon! Using the mortar strikes to soften up cover or exposing the defenders is part of the role; so is using the c4 to take out the armor. I think you can destroy mcomm stations with C4 too. Sitting at the far side of the map waiting for a head to pop up every 2 minutes is stupid.

The thing is though, with Hardcore you can't spot/mark people so having 8 snipers is useless. I should try normal, maybe I won't die by snipers ALL the time then.

What level is everyone? I reached 14 last night.

I'm at level 7 because my playing time is fairly limited. I've got all the vehicle unlocks and the majority of the engineer unlocks. Recon I'm about half unlocked, assault and medic I still don't have the initial kit unlock, lol.

Same. Assault seems like the most useless class.

Recon - Spot from afar, provide support, C4/Motar

Medic - LMG, heal, health packs

Engineer - RPG/AT mines, fix vehicles

Then there's assault... No C4, just a gun with a grenade launcher. They should make it effective at destroying vehicles. I really fail to see why play assault. I prefer the medic guns, every other class has abilities except assualt, and it is useless against vehicles.

Giving ammo I guess, and I do like some of the assault guns.

I spend way too much time in tanks. My tank score is like 25,000, my medic is 21,000, my Recon is around 8,000 and my Engineer is 33,000+. If I didn't spend any time in tanks I could be done Engineer Medic and close to Engineer.

Me and my friend are just so damn dominant in the tank/chopper though.

I agree with the rest of you, Assault is useless.

The problem is the Assault guns get dominated by the M60 at long range, the AKS-74U at close range the the nade launcher is zero threat to a tank or Bradley.

So why bother?

Pretty much all I play now is engineer anyway. I love that class.

Actually one thing you can do as assault is spam grenades, just throw down an ammo pack and spam the f key lol. Actually held off an armored vehicle with a dumb driver all by myself the other day doing that.. throw grenades, he repairs a bit, comes back, throw more, he repairs.. if he'd just driven further where he could actually see me he'd have killed me easy.

It's funny the talk about the M60, wasn't that the problem in BF:V when it first came out, that even snipers were getting owned by the perfect aim M60?
