If not for the blown 3-0 lead in game one it would have been a sweep
Dallas is unreal and they are going to the finals and probably winning it
Go Tanev

The Vancouver 4th and Dallas 3rd are very much on the table as it stands.

I’m fully on board the Dallas train.
There won’t be a better sight in 2024 than watching Chris Tanev lift the Cup.

Keep in mind Dallas has not trailed this entire series. I think the ESPN crew even quoted the stat that they have not went into an intermission without the lead. Crazy.
Stars have certainly had their issues trying to protect their leads, but overall they are making an excellent Avs team look pretty pedestrian. I've been really impressed by Benn. I have long disliked him for going over the line and playing dirty, but its hard to dismiss the impact he's had on this series. It's crazy to think that a year or two ago it looked like he was out of gas. He has really found a 2nd wind playing with the kids.

Was Tanev hurt last night? Read on Twitter this morning that the coach would have an update on Hintz & Tanev today. What happened?

I know he was largely regular season free of injuries with us… but the injury concern with him is why you don’t go 5x5.
He plays with a total lack of self preservation. I respect him for it.

To this day I remember watching Robyn Regehr hoisting The Cup and I was so happy! I imagine it'd be something similar for Tanev.

Never mind 'out of gas'. Many on here - many - called him the worst contract in the league, several years ago. Now, a couple months shy of his 35th birthday, he is a huge factor for one of the best teams in the league.
Just a little reminder to the Huberdeau haters.

Toews being out is a massive blow to the Avs. He is such a steady D man and really allows Makar to be Makar. If he is able to play it will be a big help to the Avs. Will it be enough?

They've beaten the Avs twice with him in the lineup so probably not.

Toews and Nichuskin both being out really kills the depth of what is already a bit of a top heavy team.

They were at least competitive in those games unlike the last one. Missing Nichushkin obviously makes a difference but so does Toews.

Dallas looks unstoppable but MacKinnon and Makar both capable of being better. We all know they can take over a game.

Was just coming here to post about this.
After game 1 of this series, Makar had 12 points in 6 games. Look at his three games since then:
Has any team ever been able to do that to him before? Like I mean, maybe a game here and there... but three straight games of utter futility?
