Try not to judge who is and isn't a leader in the room but it's hard to wear an A when relegated to 4th line duty. Part of those letters is communicating with officials, hard to do that with limited minutes, if he was even going to be an every day player. Will be interesting to see wear the A goes.

I can't see the Flames trading for Duchene. The Flames will not trade any of the top 9, meaning Duchene would push Versteeg or Ferland to the 4th line, which is not happening.
I think a Brouwer trade involves a #6 defenceman coming back, and one who is overpaid with minimal upside. Like I said, Sbisa or Stoner from Vegas. It would be cool to see a Stoner - Stone pairing.

Back to the Blues maybe? With their injuries and missing out on Jagr despite a similar offer as Calgary. Plus they have experience with him

Some people sound sure it's St. Louis on HF, not sure what to make of that.
I personally see him going to Vegas. Need more forward depth, and an excess of defensemen, or which we need a #6 left-handed blueliner.
At the end of the day, does anyone really care where he goes?
